New bison population being established in Mogilev Oblast
Bison live in large, localized, and densely populated herds – such as the Belovezhskaya and Osipovichi populations, each already exceeding 700 individuals. These are quite conservative animals that spread very slowly and tend to cluster in small areas, which creates problems, including for agriculture.
