Belarusian Zhigar breaks 37-year-old 200m national record
Competing at the Belarusian Open Athletics Championships, the
22-year-old sprinter claimed gold in the 200m event clocking 20.40
seconds. Mikita Zhigar's performance surpassed the previous national
record of 20.63 seconds set by Aleksandr Starovoitov in 1988.
