On July 15, 2025, in Tianjin (China), the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Maxim Ryzhenkov, took part in a meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation for the first time in the history of Belarus' full-fledged membership in the organisation.
